Andrea Glass
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Andrea Glass is the Co-founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Emergency Management Collaborations (EMC), bringing with her a deep passion for finding innovative solutions to challenges faced in emergency management planning, response, and recovery. Andrea has over 23 years’ experience in the fire service rising to the rank of Assistant Fire Chief in the Phoenix Metropolitan Region. During her tenure she has overseen the areas of emergency medical services, emergency management, special event preparedness, special operations, terrorism liaison officers, SWAT medic program, training and professional development, and health and wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Organizational Studies from Arizona State University and a double masters with a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Michelle Seitz
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Michelle is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Emergency Management Collaborations. She believes in approaching emergency preparedness and response efforts from all angles, with passion and innovation. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in the emergency management field in coordinating, planning, and managing preparedness programs, trainings, exercises, and real-life incidents specific to the capabilities and needs of local, regional, state, and federal agencies from both the public and private sector. Michelle has coined the phrase “reality planning”, as she believes in the need to collaborate closely and continuously with responders in the field to recognize existing resources and capabilities in everyday response as a good indication of what can and will happen in the face of large-scale events.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management from Upper Iowa University and a Master of Science in Homeland Security Management from Long Island University’s Homeland Security and Counter Terrorism Institute. Her studies and work experience have focused on response to large-scale violent events and mass casualty incidents. Through her experiences, Michelle has co-published a Family Reunification Following Disasters planning tool in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Disaster Medicine. In partnership with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Michelle published a peer assessment in the aftermath of October 1, outlining the Public Health and Medical Preparedness and Response Activities at the 2017 Route 91 Music Festival in Las Vegas.
Joseph Meier
Chief Operating Officer
Joe Meier is the Chief Operating Officer of Emergency Management Collaborations (EMC), with a passion for process improvement and building strong partnerships. A United States Army veteran, with 25 years experience in the fire service, Joe rose through the ranks to serve as a Deputy Fire Chief for a large Phoenix metropolitan fire department. In addition to managing a variety of sections and divisions within the fire department, Joe has served on incident management teams for large scale events to include multiple Super Bowls, The Final Four, National Championship College Football, NBA Finals, and music festivals.
Shannon Hakes
Chief Marketing Officer
As a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Shannon Hakes is a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving innovative marketing strategies that propel companies to new heights of success. With over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service, Shannon has honed her skills in brand management, digital marketing, and market research to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences. Shannon has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and retention. She is known for her proactive approach to customer service, always striving to exceed expectations and build positive relationships with clients and her team.
Lori Bydalek
Chief Growth Officer
Lori is the Chief Growth Officer, CGO, of Emergency Management Collaborations. She is responsible for driving growth and expansion as well as leading our Human Resources function in addition to ensuring best-in-class processes and the integration of all business functions to deliver the most responsive, innovative solutions to the public. Lori is a dynamic leader experienced in start-ups, turn-arounds and global expansion. She brings vast leadership experience with various international diversified organizations. She has a successful track-record in leading major transformation initiatives across multiple global businesses and functions, including Strategy Deployment, Continuous Improvement, Footprint Optimization, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organizational Development, and more. Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside.
